There are 167 vermicelli manufacturers with an annual output of more than 200,000 tons, accounting for more than 80% of China’s total output and more than 85% of China’s total exports. the products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions, including Asia, Europe and the United States. .
In 2015, China produced about 400000 tons of vermicelli annually, of which Longkou vermicelli produced about 100000 tons, accounting for 1/4 of China’s output. Yantai City has 91 vermicelli production enterprises with an annual output value of nearly 8 billion yuan, which is exported to more than 100 countries and regions. It is the largest fan production base in China.
In the early 1980s, Zhaoyuan Longkou fans won 13 provincial, ministerial and national quality product titles.
On September 10, 2002, the former AQSIQ approved the protection of products of origin to Longkou vermicelli. .
In 2003, Zhaoyuan City has five brands of Longkou fans to create more than 7 provincial-level famous brands. .
